Karina Zurita, co-founder of Colombian Latin Soul, is a Colombian vocalist and performer born in Cartagena, Colombia, whose professional career began at just 10 years old. Recognized early for her musical talent, she worked with the international entertainment company John Chacko International, participating in a touring production that took her across Asia — including Thailand, China, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Taiwan — for six consecutive years.
Karina relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2006, where her artistic career continued to grow. In 2012, she joined the acclaimed Mariachi Divas, contributing to three albums that earned three Grammy nominations, including a Grammy Award win in 2014 for her participation in the album A Mi Manera.
Throughout her career, Karina has shared the stage with internationally recognized artists such as Vanessa Amorosi, Shaggy, Roxing Café, Cristian Castro, José José, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Eddie Santiago, and Carlos Vives. Known for her versatility, vocal range, and stage presence, she performs comfortably across multiple genres and in various languages.
